How to Make

  • Step 1: Place shops in heavy pan with enough water almost to cover.

  • Step 2: Add salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Cover tightly and cook over low heat 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Place 2 tablespoons rice on each chop.

  • Step 5: Place vegetables on chops in order listed.

  • Step 6: Add enough additional water almost to cover rice.

  • Step 7: Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until meat and rice are done.
