Step 1: Combine sugar, sour cream and butter in a medium sized pan.
Step 2: Bring mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Step 3: Boil for 7 minutes or if using a candy thermometer bring it to a soft ball stage.
Step 4: Remove pan from heat and stir in white chocolate until melted.
Step 5: Add marshmallow cream and walnuts.
Step 6: Beat by hand until completely blended.
Step 7: Spread into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.
Step 8: Cool at room temperature.
