  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2/3 cup white wine
  • 1 can (16 ounce) artichoke hearts
  • 2 tablespoons dill, fresh finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 whole lemon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the lamb cubes and onion in oil.

  • Step 2: Add tomato paste, tomatoes, wine and water to cover meat. Simmer covered for 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Add artichokes, cook 30 minutes more.

  • Step 4: Add herbs and lemon juice, cook 30 more minutes until lamb is tender.
