Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds boneless pork chops (8 chops, 3/4-inch thick)
  • 4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (no less than 4 teaspoons but can use more, or Creole seasoning)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or canola oil)
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Condensed Cream of Celery Soup, undiluted
  • 2/3 cup half and half (or whole milk)
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cooked rice (or cooked egg noodles)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season the pork chops with the Creole seasoning.

  • Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in very large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the pork from the skillet.

  • Step 3: Add more oil to the skillet if you need to. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Add condensed soups, half & half , parsley and tomatoes to the skillet and heat to a boil. Return the pork to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 25-35 minutes or until the pork is very tender. Season the sauce with salt and pepper)

  • Step 5: Serve the pork and sauce with cooked rice or cooked noodles.
