Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 box (18.25 ounce) chocolate cake mix (or any flavor you want!)
  • 1/2 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 2 large eggs
  • Confectioners sugar or granulated sugar, for rolling

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°.

  • Step 2: Stir dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms.

  • Step 3: Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll balls in granulated or confectioners' sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

  • Step 4: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until center is barely set, then remove from oven. Let cool for about two minutes on cookie sheet, then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.

  • Use any flavor cake mix you like. Strawberry is really good, too. The confectioners sugar tends to get absorbed by the cookie before baking - so I usually use the granulated sugar. For a flavor kick, I add cinnamon to the sugar when using a devils food cake mix.
