Step 1: Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the celery, bell pepper and garlic, then cook stirring until the vegetables are tender.
Step 2: Stir the broth, green chiles and tomato paste in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the chicken, rice and sausage. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the rice is tender. Add salt and pepper.
Step 3: Stir in the cilantro. Serve with the hot pepper sauce, if desired.
