Step 1: Bring water, boullion, and one-half stick of the butter to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Step 2: Add your noodles, and cook according to directions or until al dente. Stir FREQUENTLY, or this will be one sorry, gummy mess.
Step 3: During the last minute of cooking, add the remaining butter (I know, but just do it!) and green onions, if using.
Step 4: Sprinkle with poppy seeds and serve. Do not tell your dinner guests how much butter you used.
