  • 1 box (15 1/4 ounce) yellow cake mix (any flavor cake mix, 1 package )
  • 12 ounces lemon-lime soda (any soda )
  • Here are some cake & soda pop possibilities for you to try
  • Strawberry cake mix with 7-Up
  • Chocolate cake mix with cherry Coke
  • Orange cake mix with vanilla cream soda
  • White cake mix with orange pop.
  • Chocolate cake mix with Dr. Pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the cake mix and the 7-up in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until well blended. Bake as directed on box. (I decreased the temp to 325° and decreased the time by 5 minutes.)

  • Step 2: Cool and frost with Cool Whip or any frosting of your choice.
