Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 slices rye bread (large slices Jewish-style rye bread)
  • Prepared Russian dressing
  • 2 Swiss cheese slices
  • 4 to 5 ounces cooked beef brisket roast (thin sliced)
  • 2 ounces prepared coleslaw
  • Salt & pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Toast 1 slice of bread (this will be the middle slice). Spread Russian dressing on all pieces of the bread (using as much as you like).

  • Step 2: Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on 2 slices of the untoasted bread.

  • Step 3: Pile the brisket onto one of the slices of bread with the cheese.

  • Step 4: Put the coleslaw on the other slice of bread with the cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • Step 5: Put the toasted slice of bread on top of the meat. Sandwich the pieces together.

  • Step 6: Cook the triple-decker sandwich on the flat grill until both the top and bottom pieces of bread are golden brown.
