Step 1: Preheat oven to 350f.
Step 2: In a bowl, Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside.
Step 3: In another bowl, cream the butter and both sugars using an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then on low speed, beat in the peanut butter.
Step 4: Mix in flour mixture on low speed until incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips.
Step 5: Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and place on light-greased baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Step 6: Using a lightly floured fork make a crosshatch design.
Step 7: Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool remove to racks.
