Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature (or margarine, I prefer butter)
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350f.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside.

  • Step 3: In another bowl, cream the butter and both sugars using an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then on low speed, beat in the peanut butter.

  • Step 4: Mix in flour mixture on low speed until incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips.

  • Step 5: Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and place on light-greased baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

  • Step 6: Using a lightly floured fork make a crosshatch design.

  • Step 7: Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool remove to racks.
