Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 (16 ounces) pickerel fish fillets (skin removed)
  • 1 large sweet onion, chopped
  • 60 grams button mushrooms (cleaned, cut in half, 12 button mushrooms)
  • 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce (THICK)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Lightly spray a large skillet with oil.

  • Step 2: Add the onion to the pan over medium-low heat.

  • Step 3: Stir frequently adding the mushrooms after 12 minutes.

  • Step 4: Continue cooking until the onions are golden and the mushrooms are nearly cooked, apprx total time 20 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add the Worchestershire sauce to the pan, stir well.

  • Step 6: Season the Pickeral with salt and pepper.

  • Step 7: Move the onions & mushrooms to the side of the pan add the pickeral.

  • Step 8: Turn heat to medium.

  • Step 9: The Pickeral should be sitting directly on the bottom of the pan.

  • Step 10: Cover the pan, cook for 3 minutes.

  • Step 11: Flip the fish, move the onions and mushrooms over the fish.

  • Step 12: Cover the pan again continue cooking for apprx another 3 minutes or until the fish is cooked and flakes easily.

  • Step 13: Do not over cook the fish.
