  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (two squares 1 ounce each)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to t 350°F.

  • Step 2: Butter a 9x9 inch pan

  • Step 3: Melt chocolate and butter; remove from heat. Add peanut butter and sugar. Stir in eggs and mix well. In a medium bowl, crush the Rice Krispies into the crumbs; mix with baking powder, salt and nuts. Add to lukewarm chocolate mixture.

  • Step 4: Spread batter evenly into pan.

  • Step 5: Bake for 30 minutes.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.

  • Step 7: Cut into bars.
