  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: I a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter or margarine and sugar till smooth. Beat in the egg. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and milk. Beat well, till mixture is smooth.

  • Step 2: Spoon the batter into 12 muffin cups.

  • Step 3: Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown. Remove the pan from the oven, remove the muffins from the pan, and cool completely on a wire rack.
