  • 2 ounces blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk*
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 ounces walnuts (toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Divide lettuce between two serving plates.

  • Step 2: Core pear and cut into 8 wedges; lay wedges on top of lettuce.

  • Step 3: Scatter blue cheese over both plates.

  • Step 4: Combine buttermilk, pepper and garlic powder; drizzle over both plates.

  • Step 5: Scatter toasted walnuts over both plates and serve.

  • Step 6: *If you don't have buttermilk, combine 1/4 cup milk with 3/4 teaspoon vinegar and let stand 10 minutes.
