Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 whole (3 pound) chicken (or 4 pound)
  • 1 envelope (35 gram) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the taco seasoning, water and oil in a large re-sealable plastic bag.

  • Step 2: Add the chicken and swish to coat the chicken, seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.

  • Step 3: Remove the chicken from marinade and discard marinade.

  • Step 4: Place the chicken in a baking pan fitted with a wire rack and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 1/2 hours or until cooked through and chicken has an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
