  • 4 cups water, filtered is preferred
  • Dash of salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (or to taste, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a blender on high for four minutes, or two minutes in a high-speed blender like that $300.00 one that's on the market. If you don't like the texture, put it through a fine strainer. Makes 1 1/2 quarts. Keep refrigerated.

  • Step 2: Only 194 calories in the entire recipe. That makes it a little over 32 calories per cup. Low sodium if you omit the salt.
