Step 1: Soak peaches for 5 minutes in water, skin.
Step 2: Dissolve sugar in 2 cups water, boil.
Step 3: Add peaches, heat gently for 15 minutes.
Step 4: Remove peaches, add whisky to syrup, boil for 5 minutes.
Step 5: Cool, pour over peaches, chill.
Step 6: Serve with whipped cream.
