Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 20 bread slices (regular sandwich bread, crusts removed)
  • 20 asparagus spears (canned and drained)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise (NOT salad dressing)
  • Pinch paprika (or to you own taste)
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, grated (finely grated)
  • Melted butter or margarine

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the Worcestershire sauce with next 5 ingredients. Spread on one side of each bread slice, then place one asparagus spear on the end of the coated bread slices each. Roll up as tight as possible.

  • Step 2: Brush melted butter over each bread rolls.

  • Step 3: Place onto a baking sheet.

  • Step 4: Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes (watch them closely because every oven bakes differently, so the baking time may vary).

  • Step 5: Slice each baked roll in half diagonally.

  • Step 6: Serve.
