Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350- Spray a tube pan with non-stick spray, thoroughly.
Step 2: Combine the cake mix, sour cream, eggs and oil in a mixer bowl of a stand mixer- mix slowly until combined-then beat for 2 minutes.
Step 3: Combine the flour, cinnamon and brown sugar-set aside.
Step 4: Pour 1/3 batter into the pan, followed by 1/2 of the apples and 1/2 of the cinnamon/sugar/flour mixture- repeat again- cover with the last third of the mixture.
Step 5: Bake for 40- 50 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean. Let the cake sit in the pan, on top of a cooling rack.
Step 6: Remove the cake from the pan , invert and let cool completely.
