Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup (or you can use all dark corn syrup)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, I used Kraft all-natural peanut butter, 1/3 cup will give you a semi-intense flavor, if you prefer a very intense PB flavor use 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (salted peanuts, coarsely chopped, MUST be salted)
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large saucepan, stir the sugar, both syrups and butter together over medium heat stirring constantly until butter is melted and everything is combined (DO NOT BOIL). Remove from the heat and quickly add the peanut butter and chopped peanuts, continuing to stir until the mixture is fully combined.

  • Step 2: Add the rice cereal and mix well.

  • Step 3: Allow to cool before shaping.

  • Step 4: Shape the mixture into palm-size balls with your hands. Transfer to waxed paper. Refrigerate until very firm.

  • Step 5: Store refrigerated in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks (don`t worry there is not a chance these will hang around for 2 weeks!)
