Step 1: Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes or until it's well browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: To the skillet stir the picante sauce, Italian seasoning, green pepper and pepperoni in the skillet and heat to a boil. Return chicken to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Step 3: When chicken is cooked sprinkle the mozzarella over the top.
Step 4: Serve with cooked rice.
