  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a cookie sheet with shortening or non-stick spray.

  • Step 2: Saute onions in butter until translucent. Cool slightly.

  • Step 4: Add onions to flour mixture with milk. Mix until blended. Form dough into ball.

  • Step 5: Roll out on floured surface about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter or knife and place on cookie sheet.
