  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sift into a bowl the flour and salt.

  • Step 2: Stir in the milk.

  • Step 3: Beat the eggs and stir them into the batter.

  • Step 4: Add the water.

  • Step 5: Beat the batter until large bubbles rise to the surface.

  • Step 6: Have ready a hot muffin tin containing about 1/4" oil or melted butter.

  • Step 7: Pour in the batter and bake in preheated 400 F oven for approx 20 minute

  • Step 8: Some cooks recommend 350 F for 30 minute
