  • 1 broccoli crown
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup crushed crackers (optional - Ritz cracker crumbs)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut the stem off of the head of broccoli and cut into florets. Boil florets in a pot of water until they are tender. Drain and place florets in an 8 x 8 casserole dish sprayed with pam.

  • Step 2: In a medium bowl mix cream of mushroom soup with mayonnaise, egg and salt and mix until well blended. Pour mixture over broccoli and spread evenly so it is well coated. Sprinkle on cracker crumbs if desired, then sprinkle on cheese distributing it evenly over top.

  • Step 3: Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned. Let sit five to ten minutes to finish cooking before serving. This can easily be made into a main dish by adding shredded cooked chicken in before cooking.
