Step 1: Beat egg yolks with electric mixer till light. Gradually beat in powdered sugar. Add very slowly, beating constantly, half and half and milk. Pour into a large punch bowl.
Step 2: In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and salt until stiff. Gently fold into milk mixture. Sprinkle grated nutmeg on top.
Step 3: *Very important to use pasteurized eggs to prevent the chance of salmonella.
