Step 1: Combine sugar, salt and milk in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture almost boils.
Step 2: Reduce to low.
Step 3: Gradually stir about 1/2 cup of hot mil into the beaten eggs.
Step 4: Add eggs to remaining hot mixture.
Step 5: Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until slightly thickened, about 5 minute.
Step 6: Remove from heat and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Step 7: Combine whipping cream, vanilla and chilled mixture, stirring with a wire whisk to combine.
Step 8: Pour into canister and churn.
