Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes (or grape tomatoes, cut in half)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced (I like lots of garlic)
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs, chopped (I used fresh oregano, thyme, parsley, and basil)
  • Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon all purpose seasoning (I use Badia Complete)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Relish ... Add the olive oil and (optional) red pepper flakes to a saute pan, and bring to medium-medium high heat. Add the tomatoes, garlic, all purpose seasoning, and a pinch of both salt and pepper; and cook just a minute, stirring to combine all the ingredients. Then, add the wine; and, continue to cook about 4-5 minutes on medium-high heat, just until the tomatoes start to break down, and most of the wine has evaporated. Make sure to continue stirring.

  • Step 2: Finish ... Remove from the heat, add the fresh herbs; and, season once again with salt and pepper. DONE!

  • Step 3: Serve and ENJOY! ... As I mentioned, This is such a nice alternative to a heavy tomato sauce on pasta. But, also, equally as good on seafood, pork, chicken, or beef. And, it is delicious on toasted baguettes. I like to serve this warm; however, it is just as good served room temperature.
