Step 1: Combine pineapple, pineapple juice, sugar and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring, until reduced to about a cup (about 5 minutes)
Step 2: Stir in the dissolved cornstarch and stir until slightly thickened. Add the bitters and stir to combine.
Step 3: Cool, place in a sealable container, and keep refrigerated.
