  • 1 can (340 grams) refrigerated biscuits, quartered
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted (or margarine, melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 3/4 canned sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, drained
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350ºF.

  • Step 2: Coat four biscuit pieces in melted butter or margarine; place in 8x4-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray. Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese, 1/4 cup peppers and 1/4 teaspoon each oregano and garlic powder; repeat layers.

  • Step 3: Cover with remaining butter-dipped biscuit pieces, peppers and seasonings.

  • Step 4: Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Step 5: Top with remaining shredded cheese; bake 5 to 10 minutes more or until melted.

  • Step 6: Cool 10 minutes, remove bread from pan. Serve warm.
