The ingredients are:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk ( NOT sweetened condensed milk)
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest, grated (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (divided)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly butter two 8 oz. custard cups.

  • Step 2: Put the eggs, milk, sugar, coffee, vanilla and orange juice concentrate in a blender and process until smooth.

  • Step 3: Pour into custard cups, set in a baking pan, and fill with 1 inch of boiling water.

  • Step 4: Bake for 45 minutes, or until knife inserted into custard comes out clean.

  • Step 5: Place cups on wire rack and cool 30 minutes, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled.

  • Step 6: Use a knife to loosen custard and then invert onto a plate.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle the orange zest and cinnamon on top.
