Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs (sliced into quarters then browned in hot oil for a few minutes)
  • 1 2/3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 large celery stalk, diced
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and large diced
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Spread (half of a 250-g tub)
  • 1 package (120 gram) chicken stuffing mix (Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken)
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the chicken cubes, garlic, onions, celery and carrots in slow cooker; cover with lid, cook on HIGH for 4 hours

  • Step 2: After 4 hours of cooking time, add in peas and cream cheese spread; stir until well blended.

  • Step 3: Mix egg, stuffing mix and water until well blended. Drop stuffing mixture, 2 heaping tablespoonfuls at a time, onto chicken mixture in slow cooker. Cook, covered, an additional 30 min on HIGH. Turn off slow cooker. Let stand 15 min. before serving.
