Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 egg yolks (pastured)
  • 3/4 cup milk (raw milk cream or coconut cream the cream from the top of the can)
  • Ice (couple handfuls of ice I used more to make it more smoothie like)
  • 1 orange (peeled, organic if possible)
  • 1/8 cup maple syrup (or raw honey)
  • 1/2 cup milk raw milk or milk substitute I used almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup flax meal (oat bran/psyllium powder)
  • Calcium powder (1 teaspoon)
  • 3 cups orange juice (optional)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add to your blender the egg yolks, cream and ice and blend until the cream looks like it has thickened a bit, but not too long, about a minute or so.

  • Step 2: Now add the orange, maple syrup or honey, milk and flax and blend until frothy, a minute or two.

  • Step 3: Version 1 - Pour into a glass: equal amounts of the cream mixture and your favorite orange juice. Version 2 - Just eat the mix w/out the orange juice. Makes 3 cups cream.
