Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Stir uncooked rice together with vegetable soup mix in 8 inch square baking dish.
Step 3: Heat water to boiling and pour over the rice and vegetables.
Step 4: Cover tightly with foil.
Step 5: Bake brown rice at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or white rice for 25 minutes.
Step 6: Remove foil and fluff with fork.
Step 7: Serve immediately or cool and store covered to reheat later.
