Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound bulk sausage ( I like to use mild)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil (cooking oil, I use canola)
  • 3 cups cooked rice (leftover rice)
  • 1 package (10 ounce) mixed vegetables
  • 2 large eggs, well-beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the sausage with garlic powder in a large skillet until browned.

  • Step 2: Remove and drain on paper towels.

  • Step 3: Pour drippings from skillet.

  • Step 4: Add oil and heat until hot but not smoking.

  • Step 5: And rice and stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute.

  • Step 6: Add vegetables and sausage and continue to stir-fry, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 7: Stir in eggs and cook until well scrambled,then season.

  • Step 8: Sprinkle with onions.
