Step 1: In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon; set aside (leave the bacon grease in the skillet).
Step 2: Add cabbage, onion and garlic to the bacon drippings. Saute until until tender, about 8 minutes.
Step 3: Add remaining ingredients; stir until thickened.
Step 4: Add the bacon back to the skillet to heat through. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Serve warm with cooked rice or hot cooked noodles.
