Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup corn kernels, well drained ( fresh, frozen, canned etc)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (cooled, plus extra for buttering pan)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400.

  • Step 2: Mix dry ingredients together.

  • Step 3: Mix wet ingredients together.

  • Step 4: Add dry to wet and mix well.

  • Step 5: Add corn kernels.

  • Step 6: Butter 9 x 9 pan well, and pour the mixture in the pan.

  • Step 7: Bake for 20 minutes or more or until browned and a toothpick comes out clean.
