Step 1: Cut 24 half inch cubes from the prepared melon. Use any leftover in another recipe.
Step 2: Place melon cubes in a ziplock bag and pour in the ouzo. Marinate for 2 hours.
Step 3: Drain the ouzo into a glass and sip on it while you thread the melon on the picks (See some recipes really are fun to make)
Step 4: Place a cube of melon on each toothpick, add a piece of date and then another melon cube
Step 5: Refrigerate until serving
