Step 1: Sift all six dry ingredients together in a medium or large bowl.
Step 2: In another bowl eat eggs and milk together. Add in the dry ingredients, then chopped apples.
Step 3: In a heavy skillet heat cooking oil over medium-high heat.
Step 4: Drop a tablespoon full of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown in color, around 2 minutes each side.
Step 5: Remove from oil and drain on a rack or paper towels. Cool then generously dust with powdered sugar.
