Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/4 cups baking mix
  • 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 ounces ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter (cold cut in small pieces)
  • 4 large fresh peaches
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 8 ounces peach jam
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2: Combine Bisquick, sugar and almonds. Cut in butter until well-blended. Press into bottom of lightly greased or lined 9"x13" baking pan and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until just beginning to brown.

  • Step 3: While crust is baking, peel, pit and slice peaches. Mix with white and brown sugar and lemon juice.

  • Step 4: Remove crust from oven and allow to cool slightly.

  • Step 5: Spread jam evenly over warm crust. Arrange peach slices over jam. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.

  • Step 6: Return to oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, until edges are browned and bubbly and peaches have begun to soften.
