Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup butter (soft)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup cornflake cereal (crushed, you need to measure 1 cup after you crush the flakes)
  • 3 cups oats (quick-cooking)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (minis)
  • 1/2 cup coconut (sweet flaked)
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped walnuts, or you can add anything you like or mix like raisins, pecans instead of walnuts)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Cream together the butter, sugars and eggs. Add the milk and vanilla extract. In a seperate bowl, combine the flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Gradually mix into the butter mixture.

  • Step 3: Stir in the cornflakes, oats, chocolate chips, coconut, nuts and other things you want.

  • Step 4: Roll into small 1 1/2 inch small balls or even larger, and place on an lightly greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

  • Step 5: Bake for 8-10 minutes. For chewy in the middle underbake them, if you underbake them then they don't look completely done when you take them out of the oven.

  • Step 6: Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
