This dressing/glaze/marinade is absolutely delicious and the more you taste it, the more you like it. Not sure whether I will marinate chicken breasts in it, serve it over a salad or as a glaze, but it will be used and I'm sure it will be used over and over. It truly is delicious and it's going into my Best of 2018 file.
I'm giving this a 4+ star...it would have received a 5 star if not for a few errors...I've been cooking for over 50 years...you have to give amounts at all times so the newbies can learn to cook...and you shouldn't miss an ingredient in the directions...with that said...this came out amazing...I always try to find new recipes to try and rate...in the hope that it encourages the chef to keep posting their recipes...thanks for posting this...we really enjoyed it...:) I used leftover frozen meatballs...
Good amount heat to give a nice kick but not overpower the deliciousness of the prawns and the baby squid I added to the mix. Served over soba noodles for a great and filling dinner, thank you Tisme made for Pick Me tag game.
Delicious, Twissis! I whipped this up on the spur of the moment because I had everything on hand, but didn't let the sauce meld overnight a suggested. And it was still wonderful! Can't wait to try it in the next few days over some poached or grilled salmon! Made for Best of 2017 on FF&F.
My, my, my... Dienia, what a lovely condiment. We loved this bright bold sauce. It was so awesome on the Angry Whopper. I'm already craving the burger again. Tonight we will be enjoying this delicious treat on our pan fried asparagus, should be amazing. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe. made for What's on the Menu? Tag game. Kudos to you for making it into my Best of Cookbook for 2018 with this recipe.
What a tasty treat! I only had 2 apples and love toppings like this, so I didn't cut down the topping. That was really a mistake as I think it was a bit too much. Next time I'll follow the recipe proportions. My apples were about to go bad, but that didn't impact them in this recipe at all. A big plus. I did add some steal coat oats into the topping...personal preference. Would probably go with rolled oats next time. I ate half warm from the oven and the other half cold the next day. Both ways yummy!
Except for cutting back on the butter just a fraction ~ I followed this recipe exactly as written, although I did halve the recipe.
I really love this, I always do my cheese sauce in the microwave, but always made it by memory, although never used butter before.
I really did like the addition of the butter (and will not cut back next time), which made for a richer cheese sauce, so I will be making it with butter every time now.
A winner for this family, as we all enjoyed it with our roast dinner.
I wanted to try a new barbecue sauce so went straight here. I used it for a whole chicken I cut up and cooked on the grill. The sauce is packed with flavors we loved and I have set the recipe aside to use again very soon!
