Step 1: Whisk together the pudding mix and the milk in a large bowl just until it begins to thicken.
Step 2: Immediately whisk in half of the cool whip (This should to be done quickly to avoid lumps, I suggest only doing half of the cool whip so that it's manageable to mix in quickly).
Step 3: Fold in the remaining cool whip with a rubber spatula.
Step 4: Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator covered.
Step 5: Add toppings as desired.
Step 6: FOR FUN FLAVOR VARIATIONS:
Step 7: 1. NUTELLA: 1/4 cup nutella + prepared chocolate pudding
Step 8: 2. Peanut Butter: 1/4 cup peanut butter + prepared vanilla pudding
Step 9: 3. Cookies and Cream: 1 cup crushed Oreos + prepared white chocolate pudding
Step 10: 4. Salted Caramel: substitute 1/4 cup caramel sundae sauce for 1/4 cup milk + 1/2 tbsp sea salt + vanilla pudding
Step 11: 5. Substitute a flavored creamer for half of the milk
Step 12: 6. Cheesecake flavored pudding works well with just about everything!
