Step 1: Place the wings in a large re-sealable plastic bag along with the beer, pressed garlic and soy sauce.
Step 2: Marinate for 4 to 6 hours refrigerated.
Step 3: Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients together and set aside.
Step 4: Remove wings from marinade and toss in a bowl with the spice mix.
Step 5: Smoke at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours or longer, until wings reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees on a meat thermometer. (This will vary greatly depending on size of wings and type of smoker you are using.
Step 6: Toss with your favourite BBQ sauce and serve.
