Step 1: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil; add tea bags and remove from heat.
Step 2: Allow tea to steep ten minutes.
Step 3: Pour 5 cups cold water into a 48-ounce pitcher.
Step 4: Remove tea bags from steeping tea and add to pitcher.
Step 5: Serve tea over ice with lemon slices, fresh mint, and/or honey, if desired.
