Step 1: Crock Pot ... Add everything to the crock pot, cover, and cook on low anywhere from 8-10 hours. My oval crock pot takes 8 hours on low, but it is bigger and newer; my older round pot takes a good 10 hours. I try to stir it once during cooking, but it isn't necessary. Last time, I made them over night, and they went almost 12 hours in my smaller crock; and they still turned out perfect.
Step 2: Serve and ENJOY! ... Use what you need; then, refrigerate or freeze the rest. They will last 1 week in the refrigerator, and a good 3 months in the freezer. As I mentioned, they are great chilled, room temp, or served warm.
