Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F.
Step 2: Combine flour, brown sugar and butter for crust with a pastry cutter until crumbly.
Step 3: Press mixture into a greased oblong cake pan.
Step 4: Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 5: Meanwhile, mix together lightly beaten eggs with brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla, and pecans.
Step 6: Pour topping over baked crust.
Step 7: Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, then cool and cut into bars.
