Step 1: Prepare your peppers by cutting them down the middle just enough to open them up. Do not cut right through them.
Step 2: Cut half way around the stem , spread the pepper and remove the membrane and seeds.
Step 3: Mix all the remaining ingredients, season with salt and pepper
Step 4: Stuff the peppers
Step 5: Preheat oven to 400, Bake for 15 or a bit more minutes depending on the size of the peppers.
Step 6: The filling will look warm but not really bubbly
Step 7: Serve warm or at room temperature
