Step 1: Broil oysters in 9 x 9 inch pan to remove excess liquid (only about a minute); drain.
Step 2: Meanwhile saute butter with garlic.
Step 3: Add chopped spinach and saute until wilted.
Step 4: Add anisette and set aside.
Step 5: Spoon spinach mixture over oysters (either in the 9x9 inch pan or on individual oyster shells).
Step 6: Mix the spring onions, egg, mayonnaise, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Romano cheese, and dry mustard; spoon over spinach mixture.
Step 7: Return to broiler and cook until browned on top .
