Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 and grease muffin tins or use muffin liners
Step 2: In a large bowl sift the flour,baking powder and salt. Stir in sugar.
Step 3: In another bowl beat the egg until foamy. Add milk and melted butter
Step 4: Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and add raisins. Stir with a fork just until the whole mixture is dampened. (the batter will look lumpy)
Step 5: Spoon the batter into prepared muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes. Remove muffins and cool on rack
