Step 1: Mix together potatoes, cabbage, onion, garlic, chives, ham, and bacon.
Step 2: Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Heat bacon drippings in skillet; add potato mixture and form a patty.
Step 4: Brown over medium heat on one side.
Step 5: Invert onto plate and serve.
